About
Kristin Kavanagh-Rocha is a Sachem East High School student in Farmingville, New York. She is the Vice President of the GSA (gender and sexuality alliance) at her school, where she acts as a friend, therapist, and most of all advocate for all members. They are also a grassroots advocate for change in our school systems. Her goal is to make a safe and equitable classroom possible. They don't take "No" for an answer and will always find a way to a solution. As a trans and queer advocate, it gives her a unique perspective on issues and problems within our school systems
