Hi, I am Lauren, a 16 year old student from Michigan.

I am a member of my high schools GSA club as well as our BeNice. program. These clubs were created with the intentions of protecting students. I intend to uphold this value, and hope to help uphold it across every school.

A few months ago, parents in my area began the process of trying to get rid of LGBTQIA+ rights in my high school, as well as banning books that don't have any significant issues. I hope to help get rid of these issues in my school district, as well as every other school district.
